Born in Melbourne, Australia and coming of age in the 60’s there was nothing at that time “down under” that wasn’t British Iron. As a teenager I began discovering legends and icons that influenced me in thought and deed.

One day I realized the thread that connected them all was a Triumph motorcycle. James Dean, Marlon Brando, Lee Marvin, Steve McQueen all rode Triumph’s and then in 1965 when “Highway 61 Revised” was released and there was Bob on the cover wearing a Triumph Motorcycles T-Shirt beneath his paisley jacket, I knew I was on to something.

In 1967 I met this beautiful girl from California, she asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I jokingly told her “A Triumph Bonneville”. A few months later a brand new 1968 Triumph Bonneville was delivered and the rest, as they say, is “history.”

Currently ride a 1970 Triumph Bonneville and a 1966 Norton Atlas Caf racer and enjoy riding the roads of Southern California with “me mates” in the LA Clan when I’m not in Australia.
